HAMOFA heeft reeds meer dan 40 jaar ervaring in de sector dieselmotoren.
HAMOFA startte aanvankelijk met het reviseren van kleine motoren in de jaren 80. In 1991 verhuisde HAMOFA naar de huidige locatie in Hamont. Vanaf toen is het bedrijf zich gaan toeleggen op de revisie van grotere, industriële dieselmotoren van verschillende merken. Die specialisatie resulteerde in een uitbreiding van de werkruimtes en de magazijnen met meer dan 1000 m²
Vanaf 1998 HAMOFA heeft een groot aantal motoren in voorraad om haar klanten beter en sneller van dienst te kunnen zijn.
In 2004 omvat de hoofdzetel in Hamont een oppervlakte van meer dan 10.000 m² (werkplaatsen, kantoren en magazijnen).
In 2012 werd HAMOFA een internationaal bedrijf met een nieuwe vestiging in Fort Lauderdale (USA) met een grote werkplaats met een magazijn van 3000 m².
In 2015 heeft HAMOFA een verspaningsbedrijf overgenomen en het krijgt de naam HAMOFA METAL MACHINING.
Het bedrijf is gespecialiseerd in hoogwaardige fijnmechanische gereedschappen, vervaardigen van prototypen en onderdelenproductie.
In 2016 zijn onze voormalige kantoren omgeruild voor gloednieuwe kantoren in een bedrijfspand van een oppervlakte van meer dan 300m².
In 2018 verwierf HAMOFA een transportbedrijf gespecialiseerd in internationaal transport en logistiek. En krijgt de naam HAMOFA LOGISTICS. In 2019 werd Hamofa Performance opgericht. Hamofa Performance is gespecialiseerd in het chiptunen van auto- en campermotoren.
